Bev Perdue is a signature member of two of the top three International watercolor societies :  The American Watercolor Society and The Transparent Watercolor Society. She has twice won “Best in Show” in the Virginia Watercolor Society’s annual exhibition as well as being awarded “Best in Show” in the Southern Watercolor Society Exhibition.  As a past featured artist in both Artist and American watercolor magazines she was named “a Rising Art Star, one to watch.”  Her work is currently represented in American and International galleries.

Many of her paintings are in corporate and private collections.  They include “Plein Air” paintings on location in Italy, France, Spain, New Mexico, Colorado, Monhegan Island (Maine), Anguilla (British West Indies), and the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Bev teaches many art workshops including sessions at Lifetime Learning Institute in Chesterfield County. She also volunteers by teaching art at the Virginia Correctional Center for Women in Goochland, Virginia, through Art For the Journey: a very rewarding experience for her.  Another volunteer position Bev enjoys is teaching art with McGuire Hospital Veterans at Virginia War Memorial in Richond.

In recent years, Bev's art has expanded into oils.  “My journey to create is forever evolving and I love the challenge of exploring new paths of art.  I believe and hope my best painting is yet to appear."
